Marukan White Bean Ponzu Burgers with Quick Ponzu Pickles

Sriracha

White Beans, drained and liquid reserved
1/2 Cup
Gluten Free Breadcrumbs
1 tsp
Onion Powder
1 tsp
Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp
Vegetable Oil

Gluten Free Hamburger Buns, toasted

INSTRUCTIONS

Quick Ponzu Pickles:

Using a vegetable peeler, peel the carrot and cucumber into long ribbons. Combine Marukan Genuine Brewed Rice Vinegar, 2 Tbsp Marukan Yuzu Ponzu Premium Soy Dressing with Yuzu Citrus, sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper and vegetables. Let sit at room temperature while preparing the sauce and burgers.

 

Sauce:

Combine mayonnaise, 1 Tbsp Marukan Yuzu Ponzu Premium Soy Dressing with Yuzu Citrus and sriracha. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

Burgers:

Pulse the almonds in a food processor until finely ground. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Pulse the white beans until coarsely chopped. Add to the almonds along with the breadcrumbs, onion and garlic powders, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 2 Tbsp Marukan Yuzu Ponzu Premium Soy Dressing with Yuzu Citrus, and 3 Tbsp of the reserved white bean liquid. Mix well. Shape into 4 equal sized patties and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and let it get hot. Brush the remaining tablespoon of Marukan Yuzu Ponzu Premium Soy Dressing with Yuzu Citrus on one side of the burgers. Place sauce side down in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.

Serve on buns with sauce and quick ponzu pickles.
