Marukan Instant Pot Chicken Adobo and Rice
This dish is simple… simply amazing!
Set Instant Pot to “Saute” setting, and heat oil. Pat chicken dry, then season with pepper and salt. Add chicken with skin-side down. Cook until golden brown. Remove chicken from pot and set aside. Add Marukan Yuzu Ponzu Premium Soy Dressing with Yuzu Citrus, Marukan Genuine Brewed Rice Vinegar, white and light green scallions, garlic, chiles, bay leaves, and sugar to Instant Pot and stir. Bring sauce to a boil and cook until reduced by half. Stir in rice and water, then add chicken to pot. Cover and set to “Manual” for 8 minutes. Release pressure. Remove bay leaves, and plate chicken over rice. Garnish with green onions and serve.
