Marukan Instant Pot BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Make the whole family smile with these mouth-watering BBQ Pork Sandwiches!
In a large bowl, season the boneless pork shoulder with salt and pepper. Then grease the Instant Pot® with olive oil by evenly spreading it around the pot. Next add the 1/2 cup of water and the pork. Then cover and lock the Instant Pot lid (make sure the steam releasing handle is pointed to ceiling). Cook using the pressure cooker meat/stew button (high pressure) for 90 minutes.
For BBQ Sauce:
While the pork is cooking begin preparing the BBQ Sauce. In a large bowl combine Marukan Seasoned Gourmet Rice Vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce, mustard powder, paprika, salt and pepper and mix until smooth. Set aside until pork is ready.
When the pork has about 5 minutes left begin preparing the slaw. In a medium size bowl add the shredded cabbage mix, Marukan Seasoned Gourmet Rice Vinegar, mayonnaise, pepper and mix together.
Once the pork is finished cooking, use the quick release method to open. Shred pork with two forks and serve on your choice of buns with the slaw on top of the pork. Feel free to add more BBQ sauce to sandwich if desired. Enjoy!
