Marukan Instant Pot General Tso’s Chicken

Chicken Breast, cubed
2 Tbsp
Brown Sugar
1 tsp
Ginger, grated
1/4 tsp
Red Pepper Flakes
2 Tbsp
Garlic, minced
2 Tbsp
Hoisin Sauce
1 Tbsp
Tomato Paste
2 Tbsp
Honey
1 Tbsp
Cornstarch
1 Tbsp
Water
For Garnish
Sesame Seeds
For Garnish
Green Onions, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Set Instant Pot to “Saute”. Add in chicken, Marukan Yuzu Ponzu Premium Soy Dressing with Yuzu Citrus, Marukan Seasoned Gourmet Rice Vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, red pepper flakes, garlic, hoisin sauce, tomato paste, and honey. Stir. Close lid and set to “Manual” for 5 minutes. Release pressure, then remove lid. Set Instant Pot to “Saute”. Using a slotted spoon, remove the chicken into a separate bowl. On the side, mix together cornstarch and water. Add the cornstarch mixture to the remaining sauce in the Instant Pot and stir. Cook the sauce for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened. Add the chicken back into the Instant Pot and stir. Serve over rice with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
