Marukan Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
A takeout favorite made right at home!
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the rice and water to a rice cooker and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Once done, gently fluff and fold in the Marukan Seasoned Rice Vinegar. Cover and keep warm.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, Marukan Genuine Brewed Rice Vinegar, honey, cornstarch, broth, and black pepper. Set aside.
Season the beef with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon of beef tallow in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned but not overcooked.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add the remaining tablespoon of beef tallow to the pan. Add the broccoli and stir fry for 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Add a splash of water if needed to help steam slightly.
Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the sauce and toss everything together. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
Serve the beef and broccoli over the seasoned rice garnished with sesame seeds and Fresno chili.
