INSTRUCTIONS

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Marukan Sudachi Ponzu, lemon zest, grated garlic, and honey until smooth. Chill covered until ready to serve.

Place the mozzarella sticks on a tray and freeze for at least 1 hour, or until firm.

Set up a breading station; in one bowl have the flour, another the beaten eggs, and another the breadcrumbs.

Dredge each frozen cheese stick in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb step for a double coating.

Return breaded sticks to the freezer for 20 minutes to help prevent leaking.

Preheat air fryer to 390°F. Lightly spray the basket with oil.

Arrange mozzarella sticks in a single layer, spray lightly with oil, and air fry for 4 – 6 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp. Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.
