Is Marukan Your Secret Ingredient?

Recently, one of our Marukan fans was strolling through the Studios on the Park art gallery in Paso Robles, CA and noticed this Marukan stitching on linen art piece entitled “Secret Ingredient.” It was created by Santa Margarita, CA embroidery and hand-stitching artist, Peg Grady, as a submission into the “Sweet & Sour” themed art exhibit in the gallery.

We reached out to Peg and found out that the artwork was inspired by her recipe search for “sweet and sour chicken” and its “secret essential ingredient” for the perfect sweet and sour sauce being rice vinegar. So Peg pulled her bottle of Marukan Genuine Brewed Rice Vinegar out of the refrigerator and got to work to create a little pop art with a little embroidery stitching.

Peg mentioned that she has been a long time fan of Marukan and also is a regular user of the Seasoned Gourmet Rice Vinegar which she uses to make her favorite salad that includes shredded Napa cabbage, julienne peppers, fresh garlic, ginger and soy sauce. Many thanks to Peg Grady for sharing her creativity with us and including Marukan.
