Marukan Butterfly Pea Tea Sparkler

A stunning and refreshing mocktail perfect for summer parties.

1 Tbsp
Dried Butterfly Pea Flower Powder
2 Cups
Boiling Water
1/4 Cup
Organic Cane Sugar (or to taste)
1 Tbsp
Fresh Lemon or Lime Juice
To Taste
Sparkling Water
To Chill
Ice
Garnish
Edible Flowers, dried or fresh
Garnish
Citrus Wheels or Twists
Garnish
Rock Sugar Sticks

INSTRUCTIONS

Dissolve the butterfly pea flower powder and sugar in boiling water, stirring to combine. Let cool.

Once cooled, add the Marukan Organic Seasoned Rice Vinegar and lemon or lime juice. The color will change to purple.

For each drink, add about 2 tablespoons of the pea flower mixture into an ice-filled glass. Top with sparkling water.

Garnish as desired. Serve immediately for the best color and sparkle.
